Faculty of Law at Cihan University- Duhok on a scientific visit to the Dohuk Court of Appeal
On Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, Cihan University- Duhok, in coordination with the Presidency of the Duhok Court of Appeal, conducted a scientific visit for the students of the first stage in the College of Law under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Reber Hussein Yousef, with the aim of informing the students about the practical aspect of their study, where they were received by the President of the Court of Appeal, Judge Behzad Fathi Al-Atrushi, and during this visit a number of activities took place, including:
1.    Students attend a session of the criminal court, with the aim of learning about the trial procedures.
2.    A lecture was given by the Personal Status Court Judge, Judge (Zirk Muhammad Siddiq), where highlighted the importance and role of the legal profession in society.
3.    A visit to the Lawyers’ Syndicate in Duhok and a seminar delivered by the President of the Syndicate, Lawyer (Dalir Bakr), Lawyer Mrs. (Aisha Abdullah Ali), and Lawyer Mrs. (Shazanat Muhammad), regarding the conditions for joining the legal profession and building the personality of a successful lawyer.
4.    Dedicating the shield of Cihan University- Dohuk to the President of the Court of Appeal in Duhok, Judge Behzad Fathi Al-Atrushi, for his warm reception and providing the necessary facilities for the students to conduct this visit.
