Zakat of Science Foundation – Duhok Concludes Human Development Course for the Kurdistan Women’s Union in Semel District

On July 14, 2025, and in line with the recommendations of Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of Cihan University – Duhok, the Zakat of Science Foundation, in coordination with the Kurdistan Women’s Union in Semel District, concluded a comprehensive Human Development Course.

The course addressed various theoretical and practical topics related to human development, including psychological awareness, health, legal knowledge, social and family life, technology, and the use of social media platforms.

Five key lectures were presented by:

Prof. Dr. Saber Abdullah – On the prominent role of women in family life, social changes, and the challenges facing the modern family.

Dr. Mowafaq Ramzi – On the importance of health awareness and education and their impact on family and societal stability.

Dr. Dzhowar Ahmed – On legal awareness and education and their role in organizing the family and ensuring societal stability.

Asst. Lecturer Khalid Ibrahim – On the misuse of social media and its impact on the family and society.

Asst. Lecturer Peshkaft Omar – On psychological pressures and their effect on family and societal stability.

The course spanned three days, with two lectures delivered each day. At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed to the attendees
