Today, February 12th, 2022, the continuation of awareness-raising activities and seminars concerning mental health, psychological disorders, and contemporary issues in society. General Education Department/Psychology Branch presented a scientific seminar on (Autism Disorder) by the following instructors :
- (Mr. Badr Jamal Jumaa) from General Education Department /Psychology Branch
- (Peiman Ahmed) Director of the Autism Center (Dost and Bra) in Duhok
The activity also was held with student (Shaima Hussein), the mother of a child suffering from the autism disorder.
The purpose of the activity was to raise knowledge regarding the autism spectrum, including what autism is, causes, and symptoms as well as recognizing the types of autism disorder in children of both genders.
