On the 15th of November, the College of Pharmacy at Cihan University – Duhok held a workshop entitled “Advancing Pharmacy: Global Insights into Drug Systems”, attended by delegation from Turkey. The delegation included:
1. Dr. Fatih Oral – President of the Mardin Chamber of Pharmacists, Turkey
2. Dr. Sevi Özdemir – President of the Şırnak Chamber of Pharmacists, Turkey
3. Prof. Dr. Öztekın Algül – Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Turkey
4. Dr. Abdullah Demir – Deputy President of the Mardin Chamber of Pharmacists, Turkey
The workshop featured seminars and a panel discussion focused on the pharmaceutical monitoring system, quality control, and modern approaches to regulating medication dispensing using the latest systems to prevent risks associated with improper drug dispensing. The discussions also addressed the necessary steps for integration within the healthcare system structure in alignment with international standards.
