On July 17, 2025, the training course titled “From Needle to Knot: Wound Suturing Techniques” concluded successfully. The course was delivered by Mr. Karzan Ismail Mohammed under the direct supervision of Dr. Layla Mohammed Salih, Dean of the College of Nursing at Cihan University.

This one-week intensive program provided participants with essential theoretical knowledge on various suturing techniques, types of sutures, and wound closure principles. In addition to the theoretical foundation, the course emphasized practical skills through hands-on training sessions, allowing attendees to apply what they had learned in a simulated clinical environment.

The course contributed significantly to enhancing the clinical competencies of participants, aligning with the College of Nursing's commitment to advancing practical, evidence-based education in healthcare.
