On 18th, November, 2024, students from English department at Cihan University-Duhok conducted a debate on “Plato’s Idealism vs Aristotle’s Empiricism”.  The objective was to distinguish the ideas between the two influential philosophers in ancient Greece. This activity comes within the framework of the scientific, literary and philosophical discussions that the English Department at the university always abounds with.
