On July 8, 2026, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations and congratulate the new Director of the Directorate of Directing and Moral Leading in Duhok, Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Asaad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Bayar Mohamed Rasheed, Vice President of the University, conducted an official visit to the aforementioned directorate.

The university delegation was warmly received by Colonel Cherwan Mohsin, Director of the Directorate, along with its officers. During the meeting, in addition to extending congratulations, both sides discussed various topics and frameworks related to the university's services for different segments of society. This included the "Science Zakat Foundation" program, which aims to provide rehabilitation, awareness, and capacity-building programs to develop the skills of the directorate's personnel, employees, and officers.
