In accordance with the continuous directives of Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdul-Mohsin Assad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, to provide voluntary educational and capacity-building services to the community, the university successfully held the closing ceremony for the English language training course on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Organised under the "Scientific Zakat" project in coordination with the Shekhan Sports and Youth Center, the ceremony coincided with International Youth Day and drew a large public attendance.

The specialized, free course, delivered by Mr. Dilsher Younis under the title "How to Learn the English Language and Its Impact on Employment and Youth Development," concluded with the distribution of certificates of completion to participants. The event highlighted the critical role of English proficiency in opening career opportunities and empowering youth development.
