Literature Friends" stands as a literary club instituted by Mr. Mohammed Muayad Yousif, an instructor from Department of English, with the overarching objective of fostering students' critical thinking abilities. The primary focus of the club is to cultivate a nuanced understanding of diverse approaches to reading, writing, and literary analysis. Operating on a bi-weekly schedule, "Literature Friends" endeavors to provide a multifaceted platform for students to engage in various literary activities. Inaugurating its maiden session on the 20th of February 2024, the club commenced its activities by reading and analyzing of a fictional piece, particularizing on the Reader Response Theory as an application Model. This academic initiative seeks to instill a comprehensive appreciation for the interpretative and subjective nature of literary experiences, thereby encouraging participants to articulate distinct perspectives and interpretations within the realm of literature.
