In September 17th, 2025, the College of Nursing, Cihan University- Duhok, organized a recognition ceremony to honor the top three high-achieving students from each academic stage.

During the event, the Dean of the College, Dr. Layla M. Salih, emphasized the significance and benefits of academic excellence, highlighting how outstanding performance contributes not only to personal growth but also to advancing the nursing profession.

Following this, the top-ranking students shared their experiences and offered practical advice to their peers on strategies that supported their success. These included maintaining consistent daily study habits, effective time management, utilizing textbooks as primary learning resources, and supplementing knowledge through educational videos.
