With the continuous support and guidance of Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdul-Mohsin Assad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, aimed at developing international academic relations and empowering faculty members, Dr. Mohamed Abdul-Amir, Head of the Anesthesia Department, conducted an advanced scientific and field visit to the "Chongqing Haifu" medical ecosystem in China. This visit was part of his participation in an international training course.

During the visit, Dr. Abdul-Amir inspected the research and development infrastructure at Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd., the historical center of the High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) therapeutic revolution, globally known as the "Haifu Knife." This advanced technology allows for the destruction of both benign and malignant tumors without surgical intervention, blood loss, or exposure to radiation.

Subsequently, he visited Chongqing Haifu Hospital, the world's largest international center for non-invasive tumor ablation using HIFU technology. This international mission marks a key step in Cihan University-Duhok's efforts to connect Kurdish medical academia with modern global institutions, paving the way for future research collaboration and scientific exchange.
