On May 31st, 2025, first-year nursing students from the College of Nursing, under the supervision of Dr. Layla M. Salih, Dean of the College, conducted an educational visit to Azadi Teaching Hospital. The tour was facilitated by Mr. Abass and Ms. Shermeen, who guided the students through various departments and clinical units across the hospital. The visit provided students with first-hand exposure to hospital operations and enhanced their understanding of the critical roles and responsibilities of nurses in patient care. The program concluded with a visit to the Emergency and Trauma Departments, offering students valuable insights into nursing practices in high-acuity settings.
