On June 23rd, 2024, Cihan University-Duhok, English department concluded an English language course which was initiated for Duhok-TV staff members as a part of (Zakat Al-Ilm) program. The course was scheduled to run for a duration of 3 weeks.  The course aimed to help the participants develop their English language, especially those who plan to start learning English language. The participants are provided with fundamental components of English language as well as a great deal of relevant content. The major goals for the participants were to improve their speaking and communication skills, enabling them to communicate more effectively and confidently.  Community service is one of the key values of the university, and this activity illustrates that commitment. The university encourages the instructors to share their knowledge and to contribute to the community by participating in a variety of activities.
