On May 2, 2026, students from the Department of General Education - (Psychology Branch) at Cihan University-Duhok conducted a scientific workshop titled: "The Psychological Effects of War on Individuals" at the Psychological and Educational Counseling Hall.

The workshop was presented by students (Riyad Farzo, Shaimaa Walid, and Karwan Hassan). The session covered various topics, including psychological distress and trauma caused by conflicts, while sharing real-life experiences to illustrate the profound impact of war on mental health.
