Dean of the College of Nursing Explores Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Integrated Healthcare in China
As part of the three-week international training program on Capacity Building for Primary Health Care Services in Developing Countries in the People's Republic of China.
Dr. Layla M. Salih, Dean of the College of Nursing at Cihan University–Duhok, visited the Sichuan Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to explore China's integrated approach to holistic healthcare.
During the visit, Dr. Salih observed several renown Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, including Gua Sha (scraping therapy), Tuina massage, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, filiform needle acupuncture, and cupping therapy.
