On June 20, 2026, and in accordance with the directives of Prof. Dr. (Zeravan Abdulmohsen Assad), President of the University, regarding fostering the capabilities and talents of faculty and staff, the (Zakat Al-Ilm) Foundation organized a seminar entitled "Digital Transformation in Drug Management: Turkey's Experience and Opportunities for Application in the Kurdistan Region".

The seminar was presented by Dr. Ronak Muhammad Siddiq, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, who highlighted Turkey's successful experience in digitizing pharmaceutical systems and explored ways to benefit from this expertise to enhance the healthcare sector in the Kurdistan Region.

The event was attended by a number of faculty members and staff, featuring academic discussions on the challenges and mechanisms related to this vital sector.
