Cihan University-Duhok Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Basra University
An official delegation from Cihan University-Duhok headed by Prof. Dr. Zervan Abdul Mohsen Asaad, President of the University, visited Basra Governorate. The visit included signing several agreements for scientific cooperation between Cihan University- Duhok and Basra University, Maqal University, and some other academic institutions.
On the first day, the delegation visited Basra University where they met with the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and a number of deans of the Faculties of Arts, Education, Administration and Economics. On the second day, the meeting included the President of Maqal University and the President of the Scientific Society for Sustainable Educational Studies, Basra Branch.
During the visit, ways of cooperation were discussed and memorandum of understanding were signed on joint work and the exchange of scientific expertise, teaching staff and students. It was also agreed to form joint committees between the above-mentioned parties.
This visit came within the framework of the field visits program carried out by Cihan University-Duhok to conclude agreements with educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad.
