Under the directives of Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Assad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, and as part of the university's ongoing community service initiatives under the umbrella of the "Scientific Zakat" institution, in coordination with the Peshmerga Cultural Center, a specialized English language training course has been launched.

The course commenced on Sunday, July 12, 2026, and is being conducted by Ms. Jiyan Moatasem, a lecturer in the Department of English at Cihan University-Duhok.
