Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Assad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, and with the aim of serving diverse segments of the community, the university—within its ongoing community service initiatives and the "Scientific Zakat" project—has officially launched a specialized, free training course in coordination with the Semel Sports and Youth Center, titled:

"How to Learn the English Language and the Impact of English on Employment and Youth Development"

The course officially commenced on Sunday, July 12, 2026, and will run for a duration of one week. It is being presented and conducted by Mr. Husam Nizar, an expert lecturer from the Department of English Language.
