Within the framework of the strategic plan of Cihan University-Duhok to elevate academic standards and develop the capabilities of its faculty members globally, and driven by the continuous support and valuable initiative of Professor Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Assad, President of Cihan University-Duhok, in supporting and encouraging faculty members to participate in international conferences and forums abroad, Cihan University-Duhok marked a new international presence in China.
On June 17th, in Chengdu, China, Dr. Layla Mohammed Salih, Head of the Anesthesia Department at Cihan University-Duhok, participated in a prestigious international scientific seminar titled: "Digital and Intelligent Empowerment of Primary Healthcare"
The seminar was organized within the framework of China's prominent program, "The Belt and Road Initiative." It brought together a large number of professionals, officials, and experts in the healthcare sector from various regions worldwide, including the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
The objective of this seminar was capacity building for primary healthcare services in developing countries. The participation of the aforementioned faculty member reflects the significant commitment and continuous dedication of the university's presidency toward developing the talents and academic quality of its faculty members to align with global standards.
