Cihan University _ Duhok and strengthening relations with institutions of higher education and scientific research in Duhok Governorate: Today, on (1/9/2021), on the occasion of the inauguration of the new presidents of universities in Duhok governorate, a delegation from Cihan University _ Duhok consisting of  (Assistant Professor Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Asaad), President of the University, and  (Professor Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Smou), Advisor to the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, and (Assistant Professor Dr. Bayar Muhammad Rashid Omar), Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, visited the three public universities (University of Duhok, Technical University of Duhok, Zakho University).  The delegation was received by (Assistant Professor Dr. Daoud Atrushi / President of the University of Duhok, Assistant Professor Dr. Ari Adel / President of the Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof. Dr. Nazem Suleiman / President of Zakho University), the new university presidents were congratulated by the delegation of Cihan University - Duhok  under the supervision of the President of the University, and wish them continuous success. It was also pointed out to strengthening and advancing the concept of cooperation between higher education institutions in Dohuk Governorate, in particular strengthening scientific and academic relations and benefiting from the capabilities of some to strengthen the capabilities of professors, and raise the scientific level of students, and prepare a constructive generation  has capabilities to meet the requirements of the labor market. 
In addition, both sides discussed the announcement of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the start of the official working hours for the academic year (2021-2022) and based on the university calendar of universities and institutes on (1/9/2021), and they talked about  The necessary next steps that universities will take on how to exploit and benefit from time for the benefit of the educational process in light of the health conditions of the current situation and to do serious work to protect the teaching and administrative staff and dear students through  the implementation of the decisions and the implementation of the prevention instructions of the Kurdistan Regional Government.  
It has been also discussed the activation of memorandums of understanding agreements between universities in Dohuk governorate, in particular with private universities, in order to benefit in the field of (providing teaching staff, developing study programs, building scientific and mental capabilities for students,...).
