On August 8, 2026, a specialized meeting was held at Cihan University-Sulaimani, bringing together the Board of Trustees and key personnel from the admissions, registration, and finance departments of Cihan Group Universities to prepare for the upcoming (2026–2027) academic year.

Chaired by Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and attended by board members alongside directors of admissions, registration, and accounting, the session focused on evaluating past performance and services while establishing a strategic plan for the new academic year
