The Department of Computer Science at Cihan University - Duhok held a workshop, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Maher Abdul Latif Al-Obaidi from the University of Mosul - College of Engineering - Department of Mechatronics Engineering. The workshop was titled: "Educating about the role and impact of Artificial Intelligence on publishing research and instructions for scientific promotions for lecturers and researchers" and explained the concept of Artificial Intelligence and its importance in various academic and research fields.  The workshop aimed to educate lecturers and researchers about the potential benefits of using artificial intelligence in their research and academic work, and enhance their ability to use these technologies effectively to achieve better results in publishing research, obtaining scientific promotions, and discussing how Artificial Intelligence affects the criteria for academic promotions for lecturers and researchers, including how to evaluate research using Artificial Intelligence tools. At the end of the workshop, an Appreciation Certificate was presented to the lecturer for his valuable efforts.
