The English Department at Cihan University Duhok continues its online learning

Within the framework of the strategic plans of Cihan University–Duhok to implement technology in the fields of language and literature and to ensure the continuity of the educational process, the English Department continues to deliver its academic lectures online during the second semester of the academic year (2025–2026). This initiative is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the recommendations of the Council of Cihan University–Duhok.

The most important academic activities of the department during this period include:

1.  Delivering online lectures to develop students’ English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and to enhance their academic level. 

2.  Organizing online discussions between students and lecturers to encourage active participation and the expression of ideas and opinions in English. 

3.  Training students in the use of digital platforms and tools, enabling them to become more proficient in using technology, deliver projects and presentations online, and participate in virtual academic activities that enhance their academic and professional competencies.
