Today, on (6/4/2021) and in the presence of Assistant Professor (Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Asaad), the president of Cihan University - Duhok, and Professor (Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Sumou), Chancellor of Cihan University, department heads and university professors, the Minister (Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir) Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and his accompanying delegation, after standing for a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, a documentary film about Cihan University and the stages that the university has gone through since its establishment in 2013 until today, and in a speech to the president of the university through Mr. (Dr. Zeravan Abdulmohsen Asaad) His thanks and gratitude to the Minister's visit to Duhok Governorate and Cihan University. The current situation in light of the Corona pandemic was touched upon aAnd its impact on the educational systems and the necessary measures to be taken for the safety of the university staff and students, in the hope that this pandemic will end as soon as possible and life will return to normal.
In another axis, they discussed the role of universities in community service and the consolidation of relations with the administrative and government authorities, and at the end of the conversation, it was emphasized to adhere to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and that e-education was a good step for the ministry to continue studying in light of the spread of Corona.
The Minister (Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir), Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, he talked about the role of universities in the Kurdistan Region and stressed that private universities are complementary to government universities in providing service and benefit to society. The Minister also thanked Cihan Group for the effort applied for the community and the presidency and staff of Cihan University-Duhok for the beautiful reception and offered all the support to the university in implementing the procedures and instructions issued by the ministry to serve the university and students in the Duhok governorate.
