Volunteer Educational Initiative by the Zakat of Science Foundation to Teach English to the Youth of Domiz

In accordance with the recommendations of Prof. Dr. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of Cihan University – Duhok, and as part of the foundation’s ongoing voluntary efforts to serve the community and promote awareness and public education, the Zakat of Science Foundation, in coordination with the Domiz Youth Directorate, has launched a free English language training course for 30 young men and women from the Domiz area.

The course began on 15/7/2025 and aims to enhance participants’ English language skills, thereby supporting their academic and professional prospects in the future.

The course is being taught by Mr. Mohammed Faisal, a lecturer from the Department of General Education – English Language Branch. It includes daily lessons that combine both theoretical and practical components and will run for one week. The initiative is designed to empower youth and build their capacities across various domains.
