Today on (May 2, 2023) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Oil, exports, political issues, and stock market in Iraq), was presented by (Assist Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhssen Asaad) the President of Cihan University - Duhok , Where it has been explained about tThe impact of oil exports and political issues on the financial market in Iraq was addressed using different least squares ordinary regression models. The experimental results showed that the effect of the model is not similar based on the strength of the included explanatory variables, such as the insignificance of the Covid-19 variable, the financial crisis, the Iraqi parliamentary elections, and the emergence of ISIS on the Iraq Stock Exchange index. On the other hand, the significance of each variable of internal conflicts between the region and the center, oil exports, and oil prices appeared, thus having a significant impact on the Iraqi stock index for the period (2004 to 2021); This study was due to the researchers' lack of interest in this market, which is due to the newness of the market after (2003), Moreover, it still suffers from a small market capitalization and weak trading compared to the regional financial markets. The study contributes to the existing knowledge because it included most of the determinants of the financial market, such as political, economic, democratic and good governance factors, and measured them with a new perspective, such as using cutting off the financial share of the Kurdistan region from the central state budget from the index of internal conflicts. In conclusion, a set of conclusions and direct proposals that can be used by decision makers and policy makers, the government, investors, and supervisors to control the risks of the stock market were presented. At the end of the seminar, a set of questions and answers were asked regarding this topic.., a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
