A symposium entitled: Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
Today on (Dec 17, 2022) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Infrared (IR) spectroscopy), was presented by (Dr.Ronak Ersan) from the medical laboratory department, where it has been explained about theInfrared (IR) spectroscopy is an absorption method widely used in both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The infrared region of the spectrum includes electromagnetic radiation that can alter the vibrational and rotational states of covalent bonds in organic molecules. The IR spectrum of an organic compound is a unique physical property and can be used to identify unknowns by interpretation of characteristic absorbances and comparison with spectral libraries, At the end of the symposium, a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
