A symposium entitled: Human Vertebral Column length relation with the Spinal Cord length and what’s the Primary & Secondary vertebral column curves.
Today on (Jan 15, 2022) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Anatomical description of DISC PROLAPSE & Sciatica ), was presented by Assistant Prof (Dr. Rana AbdulRahman Aziz) from the medical laboratory department, where it has been explained about There is always a false perception that the length of the spinal cord is same as that of the Vertebral column in human but anatomically the spinal cord occupies 2/3 of the column only. While there are primary curves of the column present at birth and the secondary ones developed at specific regions and specific time of growth , Spotting the lights on where does the spinal cord end inside the vertebral cavity in adult and it's difference from childhood. Primary curves at birth, secondary curves development and it's importance in the postural aspect of human , At the end of the symposium a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
