Lect. Mohammad Faisal Habib) from the  Public Education department , Where it has been explained about, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a branch of language learning focused on teaching English tailored to a particular profession, academic field, or industry. Unlike General English, ESP is designed based on learners' specific needs and practical applications in real-world scenarios. It includes areas like Business English, Medical English, Legal English, and English for Academic Purposes. ESP courses use authentic materials, task-based learning, and a needs-analysis approach to enhance effective communication. The main benefits of ESP are increased motivation, career advancement, and improved field-specific communication, but challenges include material development and instructor expertise., At the end of the symposium English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a targeted approach to language learning that enhances communication skills in specific professional or academic fields.
