Today on (Oct 31, 2022)  in the presence of the University President Assist Prof. Dr. (Zeravan Abdulmohssen Asaad) and in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Brucellosis), was presented by Assistant Lecturer (Mr.Shirwan Hussein Darwesh) from the medical laboratory department, where it has been explained about Brucellosis is a zoonotic infection caused by a type of bacteria called Brucella. In humans, it occurs when a person comes into contact with an animal or animal product infected with the Brucella bacteria. 

General symptoms of brucellosis are often vague and similar to the flu. They may include fever (the most common symptom), back pain, poor appetite, and weight loss, headaches, night sweats, weakness, and abdominal pain. Brucella bacteria cause zoonotic brucellosis. Contact with Brucella-infected animals or products causes it in people. The most frequent symptoms are fever, back discomfort, poor appetite, weight loss, headaches, night sweats, weakness, and stomach pain. There is no human vaccine that can prevent Malta's fever, so it is important to take precautions to prevent infection. , At the end of the symposium, a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
