Today, February 12th, 2024, a group of students from English Department visited Duhok Ishk Boys College in Hawshke in order to lead a session entitled (The Importance of Literature and Benefits of Reading Books) for high school students. The primary objective was to provide the students with information regarding the benefits of studying literature, which include the enhancement of analytical and critical thinking skills. In addition, a collection of novels and short stories was shown as an illustration of a resource that might assist students in expanding their vocabularies and improving their language skills.
