Today, Thursday, July 23, 2026, in the presence of Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, Institutes, and Schools, a delegation from Cihan University-Duhok, led by Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of the University, attended the official launch and introduction ceremony of the "Research Investment Board" (RIB). The event was attended by the presidents and vice-presidents of Cihan Group Universities along with relevant stakeholders.

During the ceremony, the President of Cihan University-Duhok delivered a speech emphasizing the strategic significance of this board in supporting scientific research and transforming academic outcomes into sustainable investment projects applicable across various sectors of life. He also highlighted the impactful role of the "Zakat Al-Ilm" (Zakat of Knowledge) foundation in executing volunteer and awareness programs designed to serve diverse community segments.In addition, the university's plan and preparations for welcoming the new academic year (2026–2027) were discussed.
