On 14th Dec An academic discussion on the development of Indian cinema and the importance of academic writing and research for cinema was held at the 11th round of the Duhok International Film Festival today. In this panel, a special speech was delivered by Professor of Cihan University-Duhok (Dr. Balachandiran Vedal) in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Iraq (Soumen Bagchi), Indian Consul in Erbil (Mr. Madan Gupal) and Indian actor (Gouri Nair ) and several filmmakers, directors and Domestic and foreign screenwriters. A group of students from Cihan University-Duhok were also present and asked several important questions to the panelists.
