On 27-1-2025 As part of strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and the healthcare syector, a joint meeting was held between Cihan University - Duhok / Medical Departments and the Duhok Health Directorate, attended by Dr. Afrasiab Musa, representing the Duhok Health Directorate , Dr. Kajeen Hassan, dean of Medical faculty at Cihan University - Duhok.

And Dr. Layla Mohammed Saleh, Head of the Nursing Department.

The meeting discussed ways of mutual cooperation in student training and their practical application in public hospitals, ensuring the enhancement of students’ practical skills and their readiness for the job market. In addition, the prospects for joint scientific research between the university and the health directorate were addressed, aiming to develop healthcare services and achieve academic and societal benefits.
