On November 4, 2017, and in the presence of Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsin, president of Cihan University-Duhok, and Dr. Luqman M. Salih, university vice president for administrative affairs, the council of Cihan University held a meeting with the heads of departments to discuss preparations to welcome the new students of the academic year (2017-2018). The meeting discussed the ways of elevating the students’ scientific level, creating an appropriate environment which agrees with the current situation to keep perplexity and anxiety away from faculty members, and to do whatever is necessary to prepare students to start their academic career by opening English courses as well as paying attention to theoretical and practical levels of scientific subjects.
