A symposium entitled: Psychological Resilience
Today on (Sep 26, 2022) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Psychological Resilience), was presented by Assistant Lecturer (Ms. Wafaa Ali Kader) from the public education department , Where it has been explained about Psychological flexibility has been used as a concept through which individuals gain the ability to face crises and pressures or any traumatic event, adapt to them and respond to them in a normal and rational manner through three forms of phenomena: 1 resulting from good growth and development despite the individual living with bad environmental conditions And low levels (such as the low economic level, the low educational level of the parents).
2- The individual’s conservatism and adherence to his emotional balance despite the bad conditions and pressures he is experiencing, such as divorce.
The individual's ability to overcome and restore his balance and get rid of negative influences due to the individual's exposure to traumatic painful situations such as abuse by others.Psychological resilience can be understood more clearly when the individual enjoys protective factors. These factors protect him when he is going through dangerous situations such as the death of a loved one, divorce, mistreatment, unemployment, or pressures with family members or others.
In the end, it can be said that psychological flexibility as a variable helps the individual to cope with the negative effects of pressures, crises and life difficulties at various levels that pose risks to the human psyche., At the end of the symposium a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
