Today on (Dec 20, 2022) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Green Computing), was presented by the Assistant Lecturer (Mr. Saif Saad Alnuimi) from the Computer Science department, Where it has been explained about The need for the concept of green computing to obtain more technology and modern technologies in the industrial area and maintain it. The ethical commitment to the environment and climate should not be separated in any way from the desire to develop and innovate the latest technologies to facilitate people's daily lives. Through technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), computing technologies of all kinds, data centers, and technologies that many parties use to implement operations related to these technologies, but it is necessary to take into account the impact of the work of these technologies on humans and the surrounding environment, and reduce the risks of these devices to the extent that these effects as possible. Green computing is still being developed, and this work is still being done collectively.
