As part of the “Zakat of Knowledge” initiative by Cihan University – Duhok, the scientific course titled “Principles and Main Roles of Antibiotics” officially commenced on July 22, 2025, organized by the College of Pharmacy for students from various medical faculties and departments.

The course aims to enhance awareness about antibiotics, their appropriate use, mechanisms of action against different types of bacterial infections, and to provide guidance on dosage regimens and classification of various antibiotic agents.
