Cihan University - Duhok welcomed yesterday an official delegation from the Federal Board of Revenue Allocation Oversight in Baghdad, which operates under the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office.

The visit came in response to an official invitation from the university, aiming to strengthen academic and training cooperation between the two parties. The visiting delegation met with Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of the University, where they discussed potential avenues for collaboration in training and institutional capacity development.

The upcoming Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to implement specialized training programs for the Board’s staff in several key areas, including: maximizing government revenues, financial management and budgeting, governance, law and administration, negotiation skills, financial analysis, accounting, legal capacity building, and preparation of the annual financial report submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office.

The delegation also conducted a site tour of the university campus to view the infrastructure and lecture halls, expressing their appreciation for the university's available resources and its readiness to deliver high-quality training programs.

This collaboration is expected to mark the beginning of a constructive partnership focused on developing human resources and enhancing institutional efficiency.
