Today on (Jan 24, 2023)Today on (Nov 12, 2022) in the presence of  the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Reader Response Theory  ), was presented by the Assistant Lecturer (Mr. Mohamed Muayad Yousif ) from the English department, Where it has been explained about Reader-response theory is based on the assumption that a literary work takes place in the mutual relationship between the reader and the text. According to this theory, the meaning is constructed through a transaction between the reader and the text within a particular context. Reader response theory is based on the assumption that a literary work takes place in the interrelationship between the reader and the text. According to this theory, meaning is built through the interaction between the reader and the text in a specific context and under different frameworks than the previous schools., At the end of the symposium, a set of questions and answers were raised on this subject
