Today on (Dec 24, 2022) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Phoenician Civilization), was presented by Assistant Professor (Dr. Nawroz Ramadhan Khalil) the head of the English department, Where it has been explained about Phoenicia was an ancient thalassocracy Civilization originating in the Levant Region of the Eastern Mediterranean primarily located in modern Lebanon. The territory of the Phoenician city-states extended and shrank throughout their history, Phonecia became a separate province in the third Century. With the Roman invasion whatever political autonomy phonecians had, was dissolved and the region was romanized., questions and answers were raised on this subject.
