Today on (Feb 1, 2023) in the presence of the head of departments and lecturer a symposium entitled (Human Discourse in the Language of Drama between the Cocoon of Novel and the shorthand of Cinema, "The Name of the Rose’s Novel as an Example" I), was presented by Assistant Professor (Dr. Ahmad Abdulkareem Shaban) from the English department, Where it has been the series sheds light on prominent examples of novels that won the Nobel Prize for Literature, in addition to clarifying the mechanisms of transition from novelistic narration to film or audiovisual narration, which was achieved through the big screen "cinema", and also gave an indescribable impetus to these immortal works through cinematic shorthand language itself.
