The Department of Radiological Imaging Technology is dedicated to preparing skilled professionals capable of working with the latest diagnostic imaging technologies. The programs of the department provide students with a strong foundation in the physical principles of imaging instruments and techniques. Moreover, the department trains students to operate and interpret results from advanced radiological equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI systems, and ultrasound devices, under the supervision of highly qualified faculty members with extensive expertise in medical imaging. Admission is open to graduates of the preparatory school (scientific branch) and related medical institutes, with a four-year program leading to a bachelor’s degree in Radiology Techniques. Radiology plays a vital role in modern medicine, providing accurate and non-invasive diagnostic tools that aid physicians in detecting, monitoring, and treating a wide range of diseases and conditions. In hospitals and health institutions, radiological examinations are essential for diagnosing injuries, tumors, infections, and other medical issues, thereby saving lives and supporting effective treatment plans.
