Dr. Shivan Ahmed presented a symposium on “Triple Accreditation” to the faculty staff and lecturers in Cihan University – Duhok. The symposium outlined with an overview on the triple accreditation, the importance triple accreditation, the benefit of applying and submitting to become a member in these well-known educational institutions. The triple accreditation consists of the following educational bodies:

• AACSB the association to advance collegiate schools of business
• EQUIS European quality improvement system
• AMBA The association of MBAs

Dr. Shivan Ahmed illustrated the standards, criteria, procedures, membership types, the submission and participation fees, and the steps of applying. Dr. Shivan explained in detail about the importance of obtaining such these accreditations to the university’s ranking locally and international through becoming one of the best college of business around the globe.
