The Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies organized a scientific visit to the Early Detection of Disabilities Center in Duhok Governorate, under the supervision of the Head of the Department (Assistant Lecturer Millat H. Mustafa) and the Department Lecturer (Assistant lecturer Khalid R. Kadhim). 

This visit aimed to familiarize students with the mechanism of early detection of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) by learning about the practical steps followed, starting from clinical examination to medical imaging, in addition to reviewing the radiological and ultrasound devices used in diagnosing this disorder and understanding their operation mechanism and adjusting their settings to suit the child's age. The visit was under the direct supervision of Dr. Jagar Omar Ahmed, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the examination and diagnostic methods adopted at the center.

The visit also aimed to raise students' awareness of the importance of early detection in preventing future complications and improving the chances of successful treatment, and to motivate them to research and development by preparing research papers on radiological diagnosis of hip dysplasia or its early detection techniques.
