Department of Business Administration (DBA)

Business Administrators graduate will handle the operational, organizational, and managerial responsibilities of a company or government offices. They are known by many job titles including CEO, general manager, and operations manager. Business administrators are often the individuals who grew the company, often they relinquish their positions and chair on executive boards.

The responsibilities of a Business Administrator include:

  1. Implementing business procedures and assessing employee performance.
  2. Relating to customers and negotiating contracts and deals.
  3. Maintaining professionalism in the work place and mediating staff issues.
  4. Interviewing and hiring staff and being a role model.
  5. Motivating colleagues and improving goods and services.
  6. Preparing financial data and networking with industry peers, competitors and prospective clients.
  7. Promoting and marketing the business and minimizing expenditure
  8. Managing budgets and attending business meetings, events, and industry functions.
